NTA announced the release of admit cards for the CUET UG 2024 examination on 13th May 2024, but later in the evening, there was another notice that stated that the candidates could download their examination hall tickets only after 14th May 2024 (evening).
CUET UG 2024 examination will be conducted between May 15th and 24th for approximately 13.48 lakh candidates who were allotted multiple exam centers in 380 cities, including 26 cities outside India. While exams between May 15th and 18th will be held in pen-paper mode, the remaining exams till May 24th will be conducted online through computer mode.
The NTA declared the postponement of the exam very last minute i.e. just a few hours before the examination across all the centres from around the country. Some NTA sources claim that the reason behind the postponement is due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and manpower issues as it was also necessary due to the rise in the number of aspirants and insufficient infrastructure availability.
The CUET UG 2024 examination offers 63 test papers this year and the duration of these tests will be 45 minutes except in subjects that include Economics, Accountancy, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and General Tests, where the test duration will be 60 minutes (1 hour).
